You'll meet at the location and come in for a drink (BYOB also available) and have a seat at the candle making table. Your instructor will begin teaching you how the make a soy candle in an 8oz tin. After choosing your scents and creating a custom scent, you will then choose crystal chips to add to the top. Your candle must sit for a hour before departing with it. I have several different locations to choose from ranging from Farm to urban areas. The address showing will not be the place that you will have your experience. After you book I will send out the location. It will be either Lutz, Odessa, or S. Saint Petersburg. If you book first, I can be flexible as to location. We will begin with a demonstration of the equipment used in beekeeping as well as dressing up in our full bee suits and then immediately start the hands-on experience. At this point you will be able to see, feel, hear and touch apis mellifera (the European honey bee!) as I guide you to a better understanding of these amazing creatures. During our time together you will manipulate equipment, ask questions and get a practical appreciation of the bees. After, you will enjoy a refreshment while we discuss your recent experiences. Upon completion, we provide a 5 oz honey jar and honey dipper to say thank you for being a beekeper for a day! Things to note: PLEASE BRING BOOTS or Tennis shoes. There is always a chance of getting stung, So if you are allergic to bees please choose a different experience. We want you to come away feeling alive and in tune with the natural world. If you are looking for a fancy activity, something fast, big company tours, this is DEFINITELY NOT FOR YOU. Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. On arrival we do a 30 minute hike to the first waterfall & watering hole. There you can enjoy the landscape, swim in the water, and scenic waterfall. Further up, after a 15 minute hike (High difficulty level), there is another waterfall with a natural waterslide. We end the trip by stopping for lunch at a local family owned restaurant that serves authentic grandma style food (Food not included in price). The hike for these outdoor wonders requires regular shoes with “good grip” that can get wet and muddy. The trail is very muddy and clothes will get fully wet. NO FLIPS FLOPS OR CROCS ALLOWED. This experience will take you to explore the Atlas Mountains and Berber villages on a full-day excursion. The tour departs from Marrakech at 9:00am. Leave the hustle and bustle of the city behind as you begin your journey into the Atlas Mountains, We will stop for a Camel ride on the way to the Ourika Valley, The Camel drivers will be waiting for us to give us local nomadic costumes that makes this an authentic experience. Then, Hop on your well-treated camel, Take pictures and enjoy a fresh cup of mint tea in a Berber tent. Then, We will continue to visit the argan oil cooperative to have breakfast and learn how they transform the argan nuts into different argan oil products. Then, We will travel through the most amazing and beautiful places of the Atlas Mountains: The three valleys, the Atlas waterfalls, the valley of Asni, valley of Imlil, With 1 hour of walking to visit the Berber villages and waterfall and see beautiful views. Next, We will go to the village where you will have lunch which is prepared by my mother in my family house. The tour departs from Marrakech at 09:00 am and it ends in Marrakech around 17:30 pm. Pick-up location: from your hotel/Riad or from the Argana restaurant in Jemaa El-Fna square.
